Super Bowl and sickness

I used to watch the Super Bowl purely for the commercials, but in recent years I've actually been interested in the game itself as well. Obviously I cared last year because my beloved Colts played, but I watched this year with an unexplainable interest in the game. Maybe it's because the commercials aren't as funny as they used to be, I don't know.

How great was the game last night? That's the kind of Super Bowl you want to see: great football, OK commercials, another Manning named MVP. Great stuff.

I'm sick. I got this deep cough on Saturday, so I went to the doctor. I didn't have a fever then, so they gave me an inhaler, hoping it would help with the cough. Pretty much as soon as I left the doctor's office I got a fever and have had it since. Chris is staying home tomorrow morning, at least, so I can go back to the doctor. Hopefully they can give me something, because I feel like death. I have a fairly high fever (last time I took it my temperature it was 102.3) and an annoying cough, and I have a constant headache and a stuffy nose. Yuck.

That's all for now. More later.

Always remember: Go Giants!

UGH! I hope you feel better! Dave & Ellie have also blessed me with the cold they had, but no fever. I feel for you and hope that the doctor can give you some strong antibiotics to kick it out of ya!

GO GIANTS! What a great game, I was so excited for Eli - pulling out the win with sheer determination when most anyone else would have let the defense sack them. Manning boys are awesome!

I feel the same way about the SuperBowl, but I watched the last 45 seconds of it - and it was pretty good.

Hope you feel better soon!!
